‘We are super chuffed’ – Restaurant named among best in UK

Loaded Southwold only opened in December 2022 and has now received an award that ranks it among the best in the country. 

Emma Barber achieved her dream when she opened the business and has now said she and her team are “super chuffed” to have been awarded a Tripadvisor Travellers Award.

Ms Barber said: “It’s been a tough two years building up our business from scratch in such a seasonal town.

“We always go above and beyond – from our homemade recipes to our pride in high service levels.

“We are so proud of how hard our team works and the wonderful feedback we receive from our lovely customers.

“This award means so much to us and acknowledges our hard work and dedication.”

Since opening the restaurant has expanded his menu to include Sunday roast dinners. 

As well as this a new cocktail menu was launched last year with products coming from local producers Niche Cocktails based in Suffolk.
