Trio of ‘exceptional’ Norfolk hotels ranked among best in UK

They are awarded by a team of inspectors to places that offer “top-class hospitality”.

There are currently 152 hotels in the UK that hold three, four or five AA Red Stars.

This includes three establishments in Norfolk that each have four – The Blakeney Hotel, Congham Hall Hotel and Spa and Morston Hall.

They all also hold AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, with one, two and four respectively, and Morston Hall boasts a Michelin star with chef Galton Blackiston at the helm. 

Congham Hall, an 18th-century Georgian manor, has an AA-recommended spa.

The AA said: “Red Star hotels stand out as the very best in the UK, regardless of style.

“These hard-earned accolades are a reliable sign that a hotel is not just great, but exceptional.”
