Transfer news LIVE: Emery wants TWO Chelsea stars after Jhon Duran move ‘agreed’

Douglas Luiz joins Juventus

Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz has joined Juventus in a £42.35million deal.

He signs on a five year contract with the Turin side.

Spurs in discussions to sign Gray

Tottenham are in early discussions with Leeds over the signing of whizkid Archie Gray.

The 18-year-old had looked set to move to Brentford and was even undergoing a medical with the West London club.

But the £40million switch looks to have broken over a payment structure.

And now Spurs, who have a long-standing interest in England Under-21 international, have begun talks with the Whites over a possible transfer.

Midfielder Gray only turned 18 in March but made 44 appearances last season.

He is the great nephew of Leeds and Scotland legend Eddie Gray but was born in Durham.

Leeds are under pressure to sell after missing out on promotion, losing the Championship play-off final to Southampton in May.

Deadline day

It’s the unofficial deadline day for PSR today.

Clubs have until June 30 to submit their balance sheets to comply with accounting practices.

It could be a busy day of deals as a result.

West Ham release two stars

West Ham have confirmed Ben Johnson and Divin Mubama have left the club on the expiration on their contracts.

Johnson and Mubama join nine other players released by West Ham this summer.

Angelo Ogbonna was the most notable of the other nine stars, while goalkeeper Joseph Anang was also shown the exit door.

The other seven names to leave are all academy prospects.

Tottenham pushing for Gray deal

Spurs are pushing to sign Archie Gray from Leeds, according to David Ornstein.

It comes after the player underwent a medical at Brentford, only for the deal to fall through after Leeds unaccepted an offer they had previously accepted from the Bees.

Ornstein reports there is an expectation on all sides that an agreement will be reached.
