This major UK retailer is now allowing dogs in its stores for the first time
This means those looking to shop for all their homeware needs can take their dog along with them.
The move was implemented last week and affects some 200 stores across the UK.
The Range becomes the latest UK retailer to allow dogs in stores
Announcing the news, the retail chain said on Instagram: “We have some pawsome news to share… Our stores are now DOG FRIENDLY 🐶🧡
“That’s right, we’re now welcoming four legged furry shoppers in our 200+ stores nationwide 🙌 & perfect timing!”
Promoting the new deals available to dog owners, the brand added: “Our Pet Event is on in-stores today for you to ‘fetch’ incredible deals across pet supplies! RUN, do not walk!”
The Range is following in the steps of Wilko which made this move all the way back in 2022.
To celebrate this brand-new approach, The Range and Wilko have announced that they are running pet-themed discounts of over 40% on essential items like food and toys.

However, The Range set out a few ground rules that responsible dog owners need to follow.
Firstly, those wanting to take their pooch into stores will need to keep their dog on a leash at all times.
The dog(s) must also be well-mannered and owners must clean up after them if they make a mess.
As well as these changes, The Range and Wilko have announced that they will also be enhancing other services to give customers a better experience. This includes a Click & Collect service that takes as little as an hour.
