The two royals at the top of Meghan Markle’s list as she seeks UK allies
Meghan Markle reportedly has two royals at the top of her list as she attempts to find UK allies.
Her husband, Prince Harry‘s two cousins – Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice – are seen as potential promotional recruits to the Duchess, according to an insider.
The York Princesses are believed to be the closest members of the Royal Family to the Sussexes.
The pair could help Meghan promote her lifestyel products with her new brand, American Riviera Orchard, the source said.
She is gearing up to release a range of products by the end of 2024 with the luxury brand. So far, jam, dog treats and wine are some of the products the company is expected to sell.
According to GB News, an unnamed source said: “Meghan is looking for support wherever she can get it.”
The insider also suggested that the Duchess of Sussex would love to have King Charles endorse her brand.
They said: “Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list, but she is shooting even higher and would love to get King Charles to give his stamp of approval.
“She wants Harry to reach out to anyone in the family that he’s still got access to.
“She still believes that there is a lot more support for them inside the Royal Family than people let on, and thinks it would be foolish not to ask for help.”
Prince Harry last saw King Charles in February 2024 after Buckingham Palace announced his father had been diagnosed with cancer.
He has travelled to the UK twice in 2024 but did not see the Prince or Princess of Wales during either of his trips.
William and Harry have barely spoken over the last 18 months and last saw each other at the Coronation in May 2023.
