The top consulting workplaces for wellbeing in the UK

The Great Place To Work Institute has named its annual list for top UK workplaces for wellbeing. A 36-firm cohort of consultancies were present in the ranking.

For more than four decades, the Great Place To Work Institute has been polling employees on the practices of employers. Thousands of organisations are included in the institute’s assessments, with input from staff collected to reveal best practice employment practices among businesses around the world.

The Great Place To Work Institute has also had to add new categories for lines of work which have flourished in recent years. One of these is the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list, which celebrates companies adept at developing collaborative cultures that support staff in their lives in the office and beyond, and promote personal growth for all.

Speaking on the list, Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK said, “Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial, and social wellbeing. It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation.”

More than 30 consulting firms made the grade for the 2024 list, including Mason Advisory, which was listed in the medium-sized business category, alongside 100 organisations in total. The prestigious accolade follows the firm’s annual employee engagement survey – the largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices – and the unique methodology behind the rankings is regarded as the gold standard of employer awards.
