The 14 fastest growing consulting firms in the UK in 2024
A list of the most rapidly expanding private enterprises in the UK has listed 14 consulting firms among its top-performers. The firms all sustained growth of at least 66% over the last three years, and in several cases of more than 200%.
For 24 years, The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 series celebrated the country’s leading entrepreneurs for 24 years. Now, a new ranking is carrying on that legacy.
Compiled by a network of reporters from the Times group of newspapers, the Sunday Times 100 fastest-growing companies in Britain list is an annual compilation that ranks private businesses based on their sales growth over a specified period. Showcasing the most dynamic and rapidly expanding business across the UK economy, the list is also frequented by up and coming consulting firms, which have achieved significant growth rates, driven by innovation, market demand and effective business strategies.
This year, 14 consulting firms made the top 100 ranking. These included Clive Henry Group – a professional services firm specialising in healthcare consulting and recruitment services – which ranked second in the entire list, with a meteoric growth trajectory of over 536% over the last three years.
David Thorpe, managing partner at Clive Henry Group, commented, “Clive Henry Group are delighted and proud to receive the market recognition in the Times last week. It is a testament of the hard-work of our staff across our businesses: Woodrow Mercer, Mprove and Tech Canal. Working in the healthcare sector and with the NHS we look forward to continuing our sustained support to our clients through staffing, consulting and technology solutions.”
Also in the list’s upper-fifth were 10th placed assets management and IT consultancy Liqueo, and customer experience consultancy Ethos Farm, which sustained growth of more than 180% over three years.
Renewable energy advisory Eden Sustainable, grant consultancy Grantify and technology firm Bigspark each enjoyed revenue growth of more than 100% over the same period. Meanwhile, HR consultancy CloudRock, management consultancies Enfuse Groupand Fredward, and BFY Group also made the top 10 fastest-growing consultancies in the UK.
Graeme Curwen, Enfuse’s CEO, commented, “We are delighted to be named on this list. Thank you to the Sunday Times for recognising us as one of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies. It’s truly great to see all the hard work of our team being recognised. We could not have achieved this without our amazing people, clients, and partners.”
According to Curwen, Enfuse Group’s inclusion in the Sunday Times 100 is “a reflection of the impressive growth since its foundation, delivering high impact consulting services for some of the world’s largest and most recognisable brands”. Enfuse Group has built an outstanding reputation for transformation and delivery consulting services across several sectors in particular in retail, hospitality, and higher education. It also obtained a platinum rating for agile services, and gold for change management in Consultancy.uk’s recent Top consulting firms in the UK list.
Rounding of the consulting contingent in the list, four other firms obtained growth of 66.9% or higher. They were technology firm Opencast, data consultancy JMAN Group, information security consultancy Atlas Identity, and management consultancy Map Room.
