The Felin Fach Griffin (Brecon)
The Felin Fach Griffin is one of two establishments in Powys named among the best in Britain for a Sunday roast.
The Good Food Guide explains: “Full of country style, this welcoming inn delivers on all fronts – bare floorboards, modern artwork, capacious sofas, a blazing fire and plenty of cosy nooks and side rooms.
“Sunday lunch is an ultra-traditional, decadent feast, and one that is also extremely good value.
“Meat is from the lowland hills – so expect roast beef or pork belly with all the expected trimmings, plus Welsh cheeses or caramelised bara brith to finish.
“Full marks for the service too: you’ll be well looked after.
