Travel experts from The Times have been rounding up their picks for the nation’s top 20 best Airbnbs with the restored carriage in south Norfolk gaining a mention.

Carriage No.1 sits in the Settle parkland between Attleborough and Thetford and is home to three of the rescued rolling stock and a luxury lakeside cabin.

With a linen-laden king-size bed, a fully-plumbed shower room and a bespoke kitchen, the stay is filled with comfort and even has a wood-burning stove to keep guests warm in the winter months.
