Norfolk trail named one of the UK’s best for runners
Peddars Way is a 46-mile path that runs from Knettishall, near Thetford, to Holme-next-the-Sea in north Norfolk.
The trail follows the remnants of an old Roman road and locals have long theorised it is haunted by a ghostly hound named the Black Shuck.
It is already known as a popular route for walkers and cyclists but a recent study by lifestyle magazine Idealo has now found it to be one of the top 10 running trails nationwide.

To get the results, the team ranked 30 trails on factors such as their safety for runners, the distance they span and their average rating on the All Trails website.
The St Ives to Zennor path in Cornwall came in first place and the Box Hill Circular in Surrey came a close second.
Peddars Way came eighth ahead of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea in ninth.
