Norfolk Sunday roast named one of UK’s best

The Telegraph has included Morston Hall in its guide of 20 of the best places in the UK to get a roast dinner.

Owned by celebrity chef Galton Blackiston, the Blakeney restaurant has had a coveted Michelin star for an impressive 25 years.

“Galton Blackiston stays true to his preferred tasting menu format with a seven-course menu served every day but Saturday and Sunday, when he loosens his collar to offer a four-course mini tasting menu,” she wrote. 

“Sunday’s regularly changing menu promises ‘Sunday roast elements’ like Yorkshire beef and roast potatoes to follow the pea velouté and Lowestoft sea bass with asparagus and white wine.”

Sunday lunch is £65 per person and guests can enjoy canapés and drinks from midday before lunch is served at 1pm.

Muddy Stilettos recently named The Brisley Bell, The Feathers, The King’s Head Inn in Brooke and The George and Dragon in Cley as its top Norfolk Sunday roasts.
