Norfolk spot named one of UK’s best honeymoon destinations

The Times is urging newlyweds that a post-wedding trip doesn’t have to be a stressful holiday abroad, with a staycation matching many of the European hotspots.

Compiling a list of its 10 picks for the best British honeymoons, the Broads was named second in the guide.

The paper has previously suggested canoeing along parts of the 116 square miles of waterways with each foot teeming with wildlife.

The Norfolk Mead Hotel in Coltishall introduced its boozy baths in August as part of a £3.5m investment. 

Finally, for newlyweds staying in the area, the guide suggests a quick hop up the county for a day trip to the wide-open skies at Holkham Beach.
