Most expensive street in the East of England revealed
A street in Hertfordshire has taken the top spot
It’s been revealed a Hertfordshire street is the most expensive in the East of England.
Lloyds has revealed the UK’s most expensive streets of 2024, with Knightsbridge in London topping the list.
While London dominates with the priciest streets, in the East of England, Harpenden tops the list.
A home in Park Avenue North is now the most expensive street, setting you back around £3,587,000.
Once again in Hertfordshire, Newlands Avenue in Radlett comes in at second place, with a price tag of £3,415,000.
Last year’s first place Woodlands Road in Cambridge is now third, at £3,294,000.
With the average UK house price at £356,925*, the most expensive properties in the country are almost 60 times more than a typical home.
Outside of London, the South East scored the next largest price tag, with East Road in Weybridge, Surrey, the most expensive. The average home here comes in at just over £8 million, still a considerable price tag.
