INTERVIEW: Lancaster rock band Massive Wagons celebrate first UK Top 5 album
Lancaster rock band Massive Wagons have achieved the first UK Top 5-selling album of their career.
The group’s latest release ‘Earth to Grace’ has reached number four in the UK Official Album Chart and also number one in the Rock Chart.
The album had been number two in the midweek charts and in the end was only outsold by albums by Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, Sabrina Carpenter and The Cure.

The band has announced a UK tour starting in November and a European tour for 2025.
They are currently on a tour of record stores around the UK to promote the album, including a visit to their home city HMV in St Nic’s Arcades the Saturday before last.
Their previous album ‘Triggered’ reached number six in the UK Album Charts in 2022, their highest position prior to ‘Earth to Grace’.
‘House of Noise’ reached number nine in 2020 and prior to that, ‘Full Nelson’ made number 16 in 2018.
The band members are Baz Mills, Adam Thistlethwaite, Stevie Holl, Adam Bouskill and Alex Thistlethwaite.
