GRIDSERVE opens new charging station near one of UK’s top music venues
The Stevenage Electric Forecourt provides charging capabilities through 30 chargers and convenience services such as a Costa Coffee store.
GRIDSERVE has opened the doors of its newest Electric Forecourt, located in Stevenage and equipped with 30 new charging bays.
Close to Knebworth House Estate, one of UK’s most famous rock concerts venues, the facility will provide electric vehicle (EV) charging services to visitors, festivalgoers, staff and local communities. The site provides 24 High Power bays with up to 360kW of power and Low Power AC chargers.
Payment options include contactless cards and devices or the new GRIDSERVE app. The chargers are also powered by net zero carbon energy, supporting the company’s purpose to support sustainability.
Inside the Electric Forecourt customers will be able to find a Costa Coffee, an EV Experience Zone upstairs and, coming soon, a Little Fresh ‘Good To Go’ convenience store powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology.
