Award-winning Norfolk pub named among cosiest in UK
The crisp and cool autumn air has arrived and will lead many to search for a warm and snug pub to enjoy a hearty meal or a drink.
The cold weather has prompted The Times to collate its picks for Britain’s top 23 cosiest pubs with The Gunton Arms being named on the list.
The gastropub was launched in 2011, by art dealer Ivor Braka, in the historic Gunton Hall and sits between North Walsham and Cromer.

He began restoring the estate in 2009, filling it with artwork from Damian Hirst and Lucien Freud.
The pub now warms guests over the colder seasons with an open fire while serving hearty but elevated British classics created by head chef Stuart Tattersall.
The menu often changes to make the most of seasonal produce but diners can expect venison from its estate, local seafood and an expansive wine list.
