Nations League: England top group, Scotland and Northern Ireland in action on Friday
Scotland face Croatia on Friday night as they try to avoid relegation from League A.
Manchester City midfielder Mateo Kovacic says he is expecting a tough game against an “aggressive” Scotland side.
“I’ve played against Scotland several times and it was never easy,” he said.
“They will be aggressive and they are playing at home, and it’s never easy to play in Scotland. But we’ve worked really well this week and we hope to have a good result.”
Meanwhile Northern Ireland can win promotion to League B by winning their final two games against Belarus and Luxembourg.
They play Belarus on Friday evening at 19:45 GMT.
Wales face Turkey on Saturday.
If they beat Turkey away and then Iceland next Tuesday, Wales will win Group B4 and secure promotion to League A.
