The world’s best investors’ 10 favourite UK small and mid-caps

With the UK’s recently appointed government searching for ways to grow the economy, Citywire Elite Companies has gone on the hunt for the world’s best portfolio managers’ top companies in what should be the engine room of British growth and innovation: small and mid-caps.

The 10 favourites are an eclectic mix but are not the most inspirational bunch from the perspective of cutting-edge innovation. However, many do offer compelling value and all boast strong support from some of the world’s top professional investors.

We’ve looked at the two business services specialists among the 10: recruitment firm Hays (GB:HAS) and IT consultancy Computacenter (GB:CCC).
